On 2nd November, Peter will conduct a Puccini Centenary Concert for the Chelsea Opera Group at Cadogan Hall in London. The programme will include Capriccio Sinfonico, Messa di Gloria and Le Villi with soloists Seljan Fermor-Hesketh (soprano), Charne Rochford (tenor) and Stephen Gadd (baritone).

Peter will conduct Puccini’s Manon Lescaut at Opera Holland Park in June 2019 – the sixteenth opera he has conducted for the company. The cast includes Elizabeth Llewellyn as Manon, Peter Auty as Des Grieux and Paul Carey-Jones as Lescaut. Performances from 4 to 26 June. On Tuesday 1 August, Peter conducted the City of London Sinfonia in part one of Verdi’s Requiem in aid of the victims of the Grenfell Tower fire. Peter was invited to co-conduct ENO’s celebration of Jonathan Miller’s 40 years at the London Coliseum, showcasing excerpts from his long-running productions of Rigoletto, The Mikado, The Marriage of Figaro, Don Giovanni, La Boheme and The Elixir of Love.
